Reserve A Table Update
UPDATE 7/15/2020 We like to over communicate (is that possible?!?) at Laurentide to keep our customers fully updated. Since reopening we continue expanding our services: ON THE PATIO Enjoy Wine by the bottle as well as Wine by the glass and Wine flights on the patio. Tables are limited and are 1st come 1st serve. BRAND NEW We debut our Reserve A Table limited appointment tasting for starting this weekend! Visit our website and click on the gold button, Reserve A Table which can be accessed up to 1 hour before any open slot. Itís very simple to use and doesnít require you to choose any wines or combination of services before hand. Parties up to 4 can Reserve A Table and enjoy any of the above options along with cheese and cracker picnic packs. Please note there is a refundable table deposit and a no show cancellation fee. SAFETY We continue to be very cautious and conservative in all our policies. Masks must be worn on the premises except when seated at tables for service. Please be prompt as we limit our table reservations to 30 minute time slots ensuring adequate time for cleaning and reducing exposure. We appreciate your cooperation.

We Believe July Update
In May, we published our philosophy regarding safely operating a business during a pandemic. I attach it again and although we have reopened at about 25% capacity, as I reread my words, I feel an update today is necessary as we enter our 15th week adapting to the evolving problems caused by this virus. Although we have expanded our tasting room to singular indoor tables by reservation and hope to continue if not expand that seating, we realize that reality might be in fact reversed if the confirmed numbers continue to rise in Michigan and in the Leelanau/Grand Traverse region. We thank all our customers for respecting our rules of wearing a mask, waiting their turn when we are busy and being patient with all our slower processes. Our outdoor seating and weather on the patio has been a true highlight of a rather dismal season and we are grateful for nature's cooperation! We look forward to confirmation of an expanded outdoor service permit for picnic table style seating so we can utilize the entire great meadow vineyard space and allow everyone to breathe easier while enjoying our great wine in the lovely outdoor space attached to our tasting room. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the online orders from our MidWeek and Weekend Case Specials that help to float us through these treacherous waters. We continue our donations to United Way for Southeastern Michigan as they continue to be desperately needed. Thank you for helping us do this. Until, more news, take care, be safe and vigilant and cheers from all at Laurentide.

Laurentide Winery Ė Sip and Supper Ė Lake Leelanau
By Amanda Renkiewicz / Photos by Laurentide The ambiance was nothing less than magical: a corner fireplace lit up with merry flames, blissful music resonating throughout, and a feeling as warm and inviting as sinking into a hot bath. The music set a tone of total serenity and bliss. As an ode to the season, white lights and traditional Christmas decor, complete with a decorated tree, filled the space. It was an atmosphere that beckoned you inside, to shut out the hectic world, and simply, for a moment, be absolutely, truly, deeply, happy. I had entered the singular, enchanting setting of Laurentide Winery.

Itís wintertime in northern Michigan wine country, and though you might be fooled into thinking that the wine scene hibernates for the season, au contraire! By Erin Rose | Libation Lover While the vines keep warm under freshly fallen snow, things stay pretty toasty in the tasting rooms as well, where the sights and sounds of pouring Cabernet Francs, Pinot Noirs, and whites - yes, whites, abound. If you pine for those refreshing summer wines in the winter season, whites from along the Traverse Wine Coast are totally drinkable in winter time - and not just oaky chardonnays. Hereís what to try this winter season while youíre out and about exploring the Sleeping Bear Dunes and the surrounding Leelanau Peninsula:
