I was born in Kalamazoo Michigan and grew up loving all things that the great lake state has to offer. My first experience with wine was around age 10 making Concord based wine at home with my father. My dad had made wine with his father at age 10 as well. Given my dad was born in 1921, his learnings came during prohibition. For me wine is an essential element of life and carries a spiritual connection that inspires me. Wine transcends the mundane and lifts people's thoughts upward.

Whether you view wine as the blood of Christ or simply the libation of choice at your North American Thanksgiving, wine transcends. In my eyes the greatest natural relationship on earth is wine and food, so join in!
