I was born in New Jersey and found my way to Michigan via Ann Arbor. I graduated with a degree from U of M in Chemical Engineering and later completed the UC Davis Wine Production Certification Program while living in California on and off for many years. A Midwesterner at heart, I was able to return to the great state of Michigan in 2006 to begin life as co owner of Laurentide Vineyards and then Laurentide Winery and our remodeled tasting room. Alongside Bill, Calla, Harriet and Spike, I manage staff and a myriad of other operations to make the Laurentide tasting room 5 star. I cook for all events and private small plates, do my best at social media, oversee business operations, as well as tend the meadow vineyard and tasting room garden. Most rewarding thing learned in the past 10+ years overseeing the tasting room: "I have THE BEST STAFF IN THE WORLD". And you can quote me on that.
